ANALES of the Faculty of Medical Sciences

ANALES is the official scientific journal of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Asunción (FCM-UNA), published by the Faculty’s Editorial Office (EFACIM). It serves as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the field of medical sciences.

Its mission is to publish original research articles, review articles, and other high-quality scientific contributions characterized by methodological rigor, ethical standards, and relevance to clinical practice, public health, medical education, and the advancement of health sciences. Through scientific communication, the journal contributes to the strengthening of biomedical research and the generation of evidence to support healthcare decision-making.

ANALES is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal operating under a continuous publication model and committed to scientific integrity, editorial transparency, and international best practices in scholarly publishing. All manuscripts undergo external double-blind peer review, and all published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref.
