Abstract
With the COVID-19 pandemic, the biggest preventive measure imposed by governments was quarantine, the confinement of the entire population in homes, under the slogan of “Stay at home”. The house as a refuge and a place of life for all intents and purposes, in a country with a housing deficit of 1,100,000 homes / 6,956,000 inhabitants and a very complex qualitative deficit, which generates overcrowding and violence, and a situation of even more vulnerability for women, creates a scenario with multiple edges and problems. What are the effects of this confinement that generates health, economic, social, spatial and territorial repercussions? The public policies imposed to mitigate the effects of this pandemic are insufficient to alleviate such a complex situation. Vulnerable women, even before the pandemic, are still more exposed and without more support than self-managed solidarity networks.
