Oudemansiella cubensis is an edible mushroom species of the Funga of Paraguay. This study focused on to characterizinge the chemical profile of wild and “indoor” produced grown basidiomata and the stan¬dardization of the production process. The qualitative chemical profile of ethanolic extracts indicated the presence of terpenes and sterol-like metabolites, and was negative for alkaloids. The concentration of total phenolic compounds, antioxidant compounds, and antioxidant activity was similar for wild and indoor- produced grown basidiomata. The cultivation substrate with the hi¬ghest production yield (13.97%) was the maize hush and corn cob mixture in a 1/1 proportion.
