Abstract

The sebaceous carcinoma of the eyelids is a tumor caracterized for its aggresivness, its unusual and for a later diagnosis. For its appearance is similar to others most frecuent palpebrals injures, like chalazion, basocelular carcinoma and the blepharitis. In this study, the female sex result the most affected. Most of the pacients overcome the fifth decenius of the life. There was no difference in between superior and inferior eyelids. The main reason of consultation was the presence of a no painful and slow-growth eyelid tumor. Histopatologically, of the four cases found were poorly-differenced sebaceous carcinoma; besided in two of them were found pagetoide disfuntion. The election treatment, was tumoral excition. It is important to have in mind this Kind of tumor as a diferencial diagnosis other eyelids benign pathology.
