Abstract

The club feet is the most frequent deformity of the lower extremities. The reported incidence is 1.2 for 1000 births (nationals and internationals statistics.)

We believe that the ideal age to perform surgery (postero medial release) of soft tissues is around 6 months, because at his ages the complications are less frequents.

The results obtained with this method of treatment (of 85% results very good and good) make us think that we are in the correct way for complete rehabilitation of carrying patients of this affection.
