Author Guidelines

Before starting a submission, authors must identify the appropriate manuscript type, consult the specific instructions for that category, and verify compliance with the applicable research reporting guidelines.

Manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through this OJS platform. Registration and login are required to make a new submission and check its status throughout the editorial process.

During submission, authors must accurately complete the metadata for all authors and upload the files and supplementary documents required by the journal.

Before proceeding, authors are advised to consult:

Submission of a manuscript does not imply acceptance for publication. All manuscripts will be subject to editorial assessment and, when applicable, peer review in accordance with the journal’s policies.

Before completing the submission, authors must verify compliance with all requirements included in the submission preparation checklist.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
  • The work corresponds to one of the manuscript types accepted by the journal and complies with the specific instructions for that category.
  • The main manuscript file is submitted in an editable format and has been prepared in accordance with the journal's manuscript preparation and formatting requirements.
  • The manuscript has been anonymized when required and does not contain names, affiliations, or other information that could identify the authors during peer review.
  • The title, abstract and keywords are complete in the languages required by the journal, and all other requested metadata have been correctly entered in the platform.
  • All persons who meet the authorship criteria have been included as authors, no person who does not meet these criteria has been listed as an author, and the order of authorship has been agreed upon by all authors.
  • Citations and bibliographic references have been checked and follow the reference style established by the journal.
  • Tables, figures, and images are numbered, cited in the text, and accompanied by the corresponding titles, legends, sources, and permissions when required.
  • Funding sources, potential conflicts of interest, and author contributions have been declared.
  • When applicable, approval from an ethics committee, informed consent, study registration, and any other relevant ethical or regulatory documentation are available.
  • All files and supplementary documents required by the journal have been uploaded.
  • The authors agree to the copyright notice and the journal’s editorial policies.
