Socioeconomic characterization of producers of the Cabañas Company of the city of Caacupé

Abstract

The objective of the research work was the socioeconomic characterization of producers in the Cabañas area of the City of Caacupé, Department of Cordillera. An investigation with a quantitative approach of descriptive scope was applied. Its design is not quantitative experimental. A total of 23 enterprises were analyzed. 82% of those surveyed own the enterprise. 73% of them have an exploited dimension of less than 1 hectare. All of the enterprises are managed by a family nucleus dedicated mainly to the installation of nurseries. The main sales are flowers and fruit plants, at 77% and 22% respectively. The enterprises are stable over time, 52% have been operating for 1 to 10 years and the rest have more years. The farms have all the basic services available to generate a constant relationship between the enterprises and their clients.
