Abstract

A problem for MSMEs is not knowing sources of financing, efficient administrative management and access to available management alternatives, either due to their limited development, degree of formalization or business management necessary to undertake, invest or innovate. The FCE UNA has been incorporating substantial modifications to its extension activities since 2016 and promotes activities that involve links with society, which is why it was raised as a problem that university extension activities respond to the diversity of micro and small businesses. to guarantee competitiveness and sustainability. The objective of the work was to identify professional technical assistance within the framework of university extension. The approaches show that administrative management at the beginning of a small enterprise is practically non-existent because it seeks to prove the sustainability of the business through the contribution margin generated by the activity and it is within this trial-error process that mixes activities and the business sector is weakened. It is concluded that assistance helps to improve production processes within the organization, install clear policies for making expenses and administrative processes that generate a direct impact on finances.
