INTERCAMBIO SOCIOCULTURAL: ESTUDIANTES Y DOCENTES DE TRABAJO SOCIAL CON TRABAJADORES RURALES DE LIMA.

The Social Work program at FACSO UNA promotes student immersion in pedagogical spaces to analyze rural social reality. The subject "Abordaje Profesional I" explores work as a category explaining societal inequalities and the diverse life strategies that are constructed. In 2022, a pedagogical field visit to rural communities was conducted to understand the implications of work in people's lives, which is fundamental for students' investigative training. As part of this initiative, a professional insertion was carried out in the communities of Karumbey, 3era y 4ta línea, and Sangina Cue in the Lima district, San Pedro Department, with the aim of understanding the rural reality in relation to work within the Paraguayan capitalist system. This article presents a review of this experience, with the purpose of publicizing the pedagogical process and offering a document that gathers the characteristics, working conditions, organization, and social reproduction of the visited families.
