Abstract

This article presents results of an investigation that aimed to understand relevant aspects of the student movement that developed in the School of Social Sciences and Politics (ECSP) dependent on the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the National University of Asunción (UNA). in the process of fighting for the creation of a Faculty of Social Sciences (FACSO) autonomous from said academic unit.  The work was developed within the framework of the Social Movements subject of the FACSO Sociology degree, in 2019. The work group that proposed the research divided the themes to be addressed, which were those aimed at the organization, the demands, the actions carried out and the context in which the activities of the student movement were developed;
in this sense, this work presents the results regarding the demands of the student movement.
