Elements of Brechtian Verfremdungseffekt and liminal theater in contemporary poetics

This article seeks to explore the historicity and conception of theater by the author of the poetic “And he descended into Hell.” It focuses on understanding the presence of the Brechtian proposal, in particular the effect of estrangement
(verfremdungseffekt), and seeks to identify similarities with the traditional liminal theater, such as “The Passion of the Christ.” Through the analysis of these theatrical influences and their impact on the author’s work, the aim is to deepen the understanding of theatricality and contemporary artistic
production.
