Resumen

El conocimiento general sobre la atención en emergencias psiquiátricas es crucial para todos los profesionales de la salud involucrados en los servicios de emergencia, no solo para aquellos que se especializan en psiquiatría. Esto se debe a que frecuentemente se encuentran con pacientes que presentan condiciones conductuales que pueden afectar directa o indirectamente el contexto clínico. Seguir las mejores prácticas y guías para la atención en emergencias psiquiátricas no solo conduce a un mejor diagnóstico y planificación del tratamiento, sino que también mejora la atención integral del paciente...
