Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal.
  • Contributions sent to the journal should be submitted anonymously, i.e. the Word file should not contain information about the authors.
  • The Editorial Management Platform used by Kera Yvoty Journal will register all the authors' data.
  • The contribution must be accompanied by the Letter of Authors, this document will also be uploaded to the Editorial Management Platform.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Editorial Guidelines for Authors.

General criteria for manuscript preparation

- The contributions submitted must comply with the format and style requirements in accordance with the nature of the Journal Kera Yvtoy, following these instructions:

- The collaboration file must be in MS Word.

- Typeface: Times New Roman, size 12, A4 sheet, margins top and bottom: 2.5 cm, left and right: 3 cm. Spacing: line spacing 1,5 cm.

- Page numbering: at bottom right edge.

- Footnotes: should be numbered in Arabic numerals, the typography for footnotes, font, size and spacing, times new roman, 9 point, single spacing respectively..

- If abbreviations are used, they should be explained only the first time they appear in the text.

- Tables and figures (e.g., bar graphs, pie charts, scatter plots, diagrams, photographs, maps) should be incorporated into the text, as close as possible to the place where they are mentioned. Both tables and figures should be numbered separately with Arabic numerals and linked to the text through this number (e.g. Table 1, Figure 3).

They should have the necessary textual references, if applicable (if the table or figure is copied from another document).

In case the figures contain texts and symbols, these should be as legible as possible.

All tables and figures should be sent in an Excel file.

Original photographs and drawings should be in JPG, GIF or TIFF format (4961 x 3295 pixels or 2041 x 1356 pixels). They should be sent in the text of the contribution as separate.

They should also have the necessary textual references, if applicable (credit to the photographer, source)..

- In-text citations and bibliographic references should follow the style of the American Psychological Associations (APA) seventh edition (www.apastyle.org).
