Abstract

COVID-19 is caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The World Health Organization presented lab reports indicating that infected individuals spread the disease even if symptoms are not present. Frequency and presence of symptoms and secuels caused by COVID-19 were determined in students from National University of Asuncion that are involved in careers related to health, these participants contracted COVID-19 between May of two thousand and twenty and June of two thousand and twenty one. A descriptive, observational study was performed. Graphics presented show which symptoms and sequels were the most predominant. Anosmia and fatigue were, respectively, the most predominant symptom and sequel. A considerable number of young adults presented symptoms. Lastly, most of these cases were reported in the current year, this data matches the actual national situation.
