Abstract
This research was developed from the application of the educational policy in two Institutions of the Capital, settled in flood territories. From the approach of Education as the main tool to promote the culture of prevention, safety and resilience in Girls, Children and Adolescents. The objective is to visualize whether the preventive, safety and resilience strategies developed in the National Plan of Education for Risk Management (PNEGER) are installed in the Schools of San Cayetano del Bañado Sur and Sotero Colmán del Bañado Tacumbú. The methodology is qualitative, allowing the analysis of the dimensions: educational actions, safety measures and resilient factors implemented through the PNEGER through interviews and focus groups conducted with principals, teachers, students and ACE members. Through the elaboration of the results and their corresponding analysis, it is concluded: that both schools almost completely ignore the preventive, safety and resilience strategies established in the PNEGER, so it is difficult to measure the real impact of their implementation. This lack of knowledge is due to a lack of monitoring by the MEC regarding compliance with the PNEGER and its effectiveness within the schools.
